Okay, can't write a whole bunch about this right now cause I got work I gotta do but this is for my IB art class 
It's a depiction from Norse mythology of Fenrir the son of the god Loki and the giantess Angrboða. It was foretold that Fenrir would escape the bindings of the magical ribbon, go to Ragnarok(the end of the world), swallow the sun, and kill Odin. I'll explain more later, or you could just look it up for yourself ^^ Hope you all like it, this is just the way I pictured it happening~

The way you drew the lighting is so real, it's hard to make something look like light and not just like orange or yellow texture 
Fenrir was my favorite character out of the Poetic Edda, just because I think what happens to him is an example of the biggest douchebaggery in history. Simply because he was the son of Loki and a frost giant, the gods assumed he MUST be evil 
So before he'd even done any harm, they tricked him into getting himself chained with magical ribbon, stabbed a sword into his mouth so that he couldn't close his jaws, and then buried him under a rock until the end of time. 
I thought the Greek gods were pompous assholes until I read the Poetic Edda.
